2026 Charity Kits Workshops

The Charity Committee has scheduled charity kit building workshops. We will be preparing project kits to distribute

to guild members wishing to participate in completing the following 2026 projects for our community organizations.

Back Packs (Church)

Big Heart Pillows (Cancer Center)

Fidget Quilts (Memory Care Units)

Lap Quilts (Infusion Center)

Mobility Bag/Walker Bag (Senior Living Communities)

Port Pillows (Cancer Center)

Quilts Twin Size (Family Promise)

Receiving Blankets for Infants (Thrive & Hospital)

Scent Hearts for Infants (Hospital)

Seat Belt Covers (Cancer Center)

One Block Wonder- Panels DATE CHANGE!

Saturdays, Jan. 17 & Feb. 28, 2026

Instructor: Tese Shekitka

Time: 9:00a.m. - 5:00p.m.

Location: Ft. Ellis Fire Rescue Station

3041 Bozeman Trail Rd., Bozeman

Two-session workshop approximately one month apart. Using 7 panels (1 of which will be used as a central focus and 6 to be used as surrounding hexagons) and 1 triangle shape to make your uniquely designed quilt. Intermediate to Advanced quilters. Strongly suggested to have prior experience with making a One-Block Wonder quilt.

GQG Members Only Registration Fee: $105

Limited to 10 participants.

Learn to use your machine to create free-style sketching to add depth and texture to your picture! This will be a 2-session workshop--either 2 Sundays or 2 Mondays. You will receive an email with more details and a supply list when you register.
