Retreat attendees spent four fun filled days this year sewing, socializing, laughing, learning and of course shopping. There was some eating and drinking mixed in there too along with some silliness. Some of us laughed so hard we snorted (no lie!) Saturday night Kris started playing music on her phone and many of us chimed in whether we knew all the words or not. Rotary cutters became makeshift mircrophones. That's a little scary!

Show n tell was spectacular as usual. There were so many wonderful projects to see! What a productive group. We had the walls and floors filled with blocks, strips and finished tops. There were quilts, bags, table runners, aprons and lots of pieces.

Demos for the gnome mug rug and key fob were great. Many of us finished them or at least got started. Great quick and easy ideas for gifts! Sharon and Karen Miller (aka Smith) were excellent teachers.

Sue Hanson joined us to share her beautiful quilts and patterns. We got to know her better and she generously allowed us to choose a free pattern.

We got a lot of sewing done in between trips to the quilt shop, stopping for ice cream and getting together for drinks and dinner. See the photos for a great quilt show, beautiful skyline and big smiles of all your friends!

Here's just a silly quick video of a few clips.

Big smiles from all your friends!

.... and the quilts and other projects were fantastic to see!
