UPCOMING CHARITY PROJECT:
SAVE THE DATE!!!
July 29, 2023
We’ve added a
Charity Sew Day at the Community Room
Bozeman Police Dept.
901 North Rouse
PLACEMATS FOR MEALS ON WHEELS
for Bozeman, Three Forks and West Yellowstone Seniors.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
Meals on Wheels delivers 220 meals regularly to seniors. If each member would make 3 or 4 placemats (size and shape is up to you!) we will reach our goal - to have a placemat for each senior by our August meeting!
We’ll work on them at our June 20 Sew Day at Stitch Off Seventh, but you can make them on your own, too. We also will have a Charity Sew / Open Sew Day on Saturday, July 29, at the Bozeman Firehouse Station #1 at Oak & Rouse Streets. We will work on the placemats in the morning and open sew for fun in the afternoon!
To make this an even more fun project we’ll have categories with winners announced at the September meeting. The categories are:
Most creative
Brightest
Most Montana - ish
Wild and Crazy
Traditional
Most Humorous
We’ll note our progress on the thermometer!!!
To keep the count up to date, we would appreciate it if you could turn finished ones in as soon as it is convenient.
Thank you!!
The FIDGET QUILTS will be given to Memory Care units
in our Care Centers for their residents.
DEADLINE: June 13 Guild meeting.

NOTE: Donations of fabric, quilt tops, and unfinished quilts may be accepted or rejected by Committee Chair and Co-chairs according to need and space available. All other donations may be used at Guild fund raising events such as Garage Sales, etc. and stored by donator. If we find we are in need of fabric or tops a call will be sent out. We know how generous our Guild members are but we do not have the space to store all that is given.
