Our Projects & Events

Guild Charity Projects - monthly (see Calendar)

One of the most central functions of our Guild is using our talents to serve others.  Our charity activities are many and open to all our members.   You don't have to be an expert quilter to help!  The main venue for our charity sewing are our monthly "sew-ins" at Stitch Off Seventh Sewing Studio at 601 Nikles Drive in Bozeman. These "sew-ins" are free to members who come to help. If you don't have a charity project of your own you are working on, we have some you can help with!   Please see the Calendar for scheduled days.  Also, please contact our Charity Chair, Linda Fisher at charity@gallatinquiltguild.com for more info or questions.

Vice-President's Challenge - DEADLINE August 8!

Leslie Schmachtengerger, our Vice-President,has challenged members to make anything using ALL of a 1/3 yard piece of red/gold checked fabric, which she provided.  Projects are due at the Guild Potluck meeting on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.  Guild members will judge the projects and prizes will be awarded.  Please contact Leslie at vice-president@gallatinquiltguild.com if you would like to participate.

Handwork Club - on summer break until Monday, Oct. 2

The Handwork Club is one of the Guild's special interest groups.  We meet the first Monday of the month to work on any type of handwork.  There is not a group project.  Your choice of handwork does not have to be related to quilting!  All members are welcome to join us for an evening of friendship.  If you have any questions, please contact Carol Gouveia at 556-8575.
